| Description: | PPM Plumbing, Heating and Soft Water is now adding to its team by hiring a qualified Customer Care/Dispatch Representative.
This position is a sales, customer service, call taking and dispatching position.
Top candidates will have sales experience and a friendly, outgoing and energetic personality.
Applicants must be professional in skill and appearance and able to interact and communicate well with customers, office staff and technicians.
PPM is a drug free, smoke free, and alcohol free workplace.
Drug testing and criminal background checks are required for all employees. |
| Duties: | Applicants must work well in a team environment.
Must be able to sell the services and benefits of our company over the phone to inbound calling customers by effectively setting up appointments for service technicians and sales people.
Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone while accurately entering crucial data into our computer software system.
Must be able to work Monday- Wednesday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm with Thursday off and Friday 10:00 am-6:30 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Communicate professionally, respectfully, and articulately with customers, office staff and
coworkers.
Follow PPM policies and procedures for dispatch, paperwork, data entry, job completion etc.
Arrive to work on time.
Use work time efficiently by not dealing with personal issues, activities, internet browsing, online shopping, personal emailing or texting.
Actively participate in all required staff meetings and sales trainings.
Help maintain and promote a high company morale and a friendly, professional work enviroment by abstaining from contention, profanity and gossip.
Speak to management rather than coworkers regarding any job related concerns.
Communicate any safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
Help keep PPM a drug free, smoke free, and alcohol free workplace.
Adhere to instructions of supervisors and managers.
Ask for assistance from office manager when unsure about any company policies.
Enthusiastically accept special tasks, assignments and projects.
Work hard, smart and efficiently.
Look for ways to improve our company and share them with a supervisor.
Treat each customer and coworker like gold.
Radiate a positive attitude.

| Qualifications: | We are looking for someone who is sales-minded and customer service oriented.
Applicants should be familiar with multi-line phone systems, be able to answer phones, assist customers and dispatch employees.
Be thorough and detailed in all paperwork for each service call.
Must type accurately and efficiently.
Must be familiar with computers and be able to navigate Microsoft Office and various other computer programs. |
